Description
From the village center of Schepdaal and via the Varenbergbeek and the Molenbeek, you arrive at the savings ponds that ensure that the Pedemolen can still run during dry summers. The water mill of Sint-Gertrudis-Pede has been making grain since the 14th century. Pieter Bruegel the Elder even immortalized the mill in his most famous paintings, and it still looks just as charming today. Furthermore, you follow the upper reaches of the Pedebeek.
