Every subscription can be used on our website and in our app(s). After purchase, your subscription is valid for 1 year. Subscriptions purchased through our website will not be automatically renewed.

No, that is not a requirement. However, you will get many more features with Premium. As a free user, you cannot use or have limited access to some of our features (see at the top of this page).
It doesn't matter whether you purchase Premium in the app or on the website, you will have access to the same features on both the website and the app. There is, however, a difference in the management of Premium after purchase. If you purchase Premium through our website, you make a one-time payment and your subscription will not be automatically renewed after it expires. If you purchase Premium in the app, your payment will go through your Apple ID (on iPhone or iPad) or Google Play (Android). Subscriptions that you purchase in the app will be automatically renewed by Apple/Google Play after they expire, unless you cancel the subscription yourself via your Apple ID or Google Play account with which you purchased Premium in the app.
If you purchased Premium via the website, your subscription will not be automatically renewed. Two weeks before Premium expires, you will receive an email. At that time, you can choose to renew Premium or not. If you purchased Premium in the app (via your Apple ID or Google Play), your subscription will be automatically renewed. You can only cancel the automatic renewal by canceling Premium in time via your Apple ID or Google Play account with which you purchased the subscription.
Premium is a digital product which you consume immediately after purchasing it. For this reason, no refunds are possible after you have purchased Premium.
If you bought Premium via the website, you don't need to do anything to cancel the subscription. When your subscription expires, it will not be automatically renewed. However, if you bought Premium through our app(s) using your Apple ID or Google Play, you must cancel your subscription if you do not wish to renew it. You can find more information on how to cancel your subscription here.
In that case, your purchase has not yet been properly synchronized with the app and/or website. First, log out and log back in to the app and/or website. In most cases, Premium will be activated then. If this still does not work, please contact us.
