Icon description route Description

On this accessible route through the historic center of Grimbergen - the Pearl of Brabant - you will find many heritage gems. You start near the Maalbeek River - 15 km long and a large decline - hence the many water mills. The Lier mill is one of them. After the Kloosterpoort and the Kloosterdam, you walk toward the Prinsenbos. The Guldendal, one of the sections of the MOT, and Prinsenkasteel are on your way. The Saint Servatius Basilica, the abbey and Volkssterrenwacht MIRA are not far either. Finish with a beer from the Grimbergen microbrewery.

You can also shorten the route to 1.5 or 3.5 km. You will encounter all the highlights of the route on the 3.5 km route.
