Icon description route Description

Using the old presbytery, Huize Hageland, as a base, you will discover different parts of the nature reserve 'Valley of the Tielste Motte' along this walk. The natural, permanently high water levels of this watercourse with mineral-rich seepage water bring with them typical plant growth such as humid heath vegetation, with locally lots of peat moss, lesser glowwort and spotted orchid. Many black alders and summer oaks grow along the creek, helping to define the landscape.

The walk is signposted in two directions with an orange circle.

This walk is offered by Tourism Flemish Brabant.
