Icon description route Description

The Three Borders Walk in Hoogstraten Wortel takes you for a relaxing walk through the green triangle around the Witte Kei. The Witte Kei marks the border point where Hoogstraten, Merksplas and Baarle-Hertog meet. This three-municipality point was recently provided with a beautiful monument with a resting point. Due to a recent land consolidation, this nature reserve is now also accessible from the Dutch side. Straight through the valleys of the Merkske and the Noordermark you cross the border towards Baarle-Nassau. Get ready for a walk in the green; the breathtaking nature is indisputably the protagonist of this hike.
The Three Borders Walk is part of the Witte Kei walking triple. Together with the Heycantwandeling and the Vossenbergwandeling you are served no less than 22 km of hiking pleasure. You can find the free hiking brochure at Tourism Hoogstraten.

Tuesday, October 12, 2021 by Rosine Van HemelryckColony 10 could not find GPS. Search for cafes Den Bayerd or Klapekster where walk starts. From 1 to 2 instead of 18 and that is the most beautiful part (along the water). From 55 it becomes monotonous and the last part was too much for me. Rather cut through at 55 to 50 or 17. That way you save the boring paved road.

Friday, March 19, 2021 by A.G.Nice walk for in between. Variety forest, meadow and heath and about halfway you can eat a nice ice cream at the sheep farmer. Also a good walk for your four-legged friend. Parking and catering at starting point.
