Monday, December 29, 2025 by Johan De PauwBeautiful varied hike. Away from the crowds. Don't expect panoramic views though. Walk through the village center of Strijtem with nice new housing. Chapel with 7 beeches brings a nice reminder of priest Daens in the fight for the hop growers.

I don't follow the negative review of 2021 at all. Idd quite a few paved roads but these are often so called slow roads that run along fields, woods and gardens. Partly also along streets but not bothered at all by heavy traffic.
