Description
A walk past the most beautiful historic buildings in the small village of Grazen, such as the Vinckenbosch farmstead and the Grazen Mill on the Melsterbeek. It is this mill that gives the walk its name. In 1753, a gang of “bokkenrijders” raided the mill. The miller was brutally attacked and did not survive the assault. You’ll pass the beautiful field chapel of Saint Anne, a place of pilgrimage that is still visited today to pray for protection against bedwetting. The futuristic structure you see in the middle of the fields is a beacon belonging to the Regie der Luchtwegen.
DETOUR starting March 1, 2026: The route from 424 to 428 is interrupted by roadwork, making the loop via junction 425 impossible. Follow Orsmaelstraat to the turnoff for 428. This shortens the walk by 2 km.

Thursday, June 5, 2025 by J.V.Beautiful walk in the Brabant countryside. At node 424 you have to take the private road. On the orsmaalstraat you have to look very carefully for the pain to node 428.

Tuesday, August 20, 2024 by I.B.Nice hike but between nodes 425 and 426 the trail runs through a meadow and it was closed on both sides with a thick chain by the owner. The signage is also almost illegible or missing in many places.

Tuesday, March 8, 2022 by Veerle MarsoulPartly paved, partly unpaved through orchards and fields. Quiet walk, too bad about the part along the road (where cars dare to whiz by at serious speed) Think this route is at its best when the fruit trees are in bloom.
