A quiet, silent walk through the woods to Moustier-sur-Sambre, a quietly slumbering village. Afterwards, we walk along the old Sambre. Of the river itself, little is visible as the banks are covered with tall shrubs and trees. Then via Franière back to Spy. In the village of Soye, unfortunately, we have to stay on the asphalt roads; the country roads around the village are not accessible and are bordered by impenetrable blackberry bushes. After Soye, there is still a stretch of forest where it goes up fairly steeply.

Almost no rest points along the way. Also no catering services. Walking with GPS is recommended. Long trousers and walking sticks are also useful.
