Departure: free parking Broekfos - Broekfos 41 - 1730 Asse

We leave the center via the Broekfospark. Soon, we find ourselves in a tranquil, wooded area where two castles are located: the Putberg Castle and the De Bergen Castle. Both buildings are not open to the public.

We continue our walk through the Zavelput. From there, we enter the Kruisborre Valley. Our first stop in the valley is the Kruisborre Chapel, the largest and most impressive of the six chapels we will encounter on our route. This chapel is situated right next to the Kruis Spring, a natural water source that has been visited for centuries by pilgrims seeking healing. Afterwards, we continue through the Solle Woods.

At the end of our journey, we pass by Waelborre Castle, which now serves as a restaurant.
