Starting point: Parking at the church of Saint-Aubin – Place, 1315 Opprebais

Peaceful walk through the Walloon Brabant countryside, with a mix of history, nature and rural charm.

At the church stands a monument commemorating the fallen veterans of the First and Second World Wars. In total, about 80 men lost their lives here – a remarkably high number for such a small hamlet.

The walk leads through open fields to the Champt’aine nature reserve. Then we return via the village of Longpré – a name that perfectly fits the vast landscape. Just before entering Opprebais again, we pass the Gustot mill.
