Icon description route Description

We did this challenging hike on 10/12/2025 (15,742 steps).

Signs in both directions: CL4.

A powerful nature walk around Roder, counterclockwise and surprisingly intense. We descend into the valley of the Our, where the river guides us along rocks and silence. The nature here is tangible: breathing, flowing, splendid. After a quiet passage along the water, there follows a steep climb, 109 steps lead to Notre Dame de la Roche, a small statue of Mary with a magnificent view.

The route is challenging but generous: it offers vistas, rest points, and moments of wonder. Those who walk here feel embraced by the landscape and share in the breath of the Ardennes.
