We did this wooded walk on 21/06/2025 (14,102 steps).

This route is the auto-pédestre Senningerberg and is well marked in both directions with a blue diamond on a white background. At the starting point, a spacious parking area is provided. On weekdays, you can park for 5 hours for free with a parking disc.

The circular walk takes you largely through remote forests, particularly through the enchanting Gréngewald, the largest contiguous forest area in Luxembourg.

It is a beautiful nature walk with a lot of variety in terrain and vegetation. However, there is one downside: the Luxembourg airport is less than two kilometers from the starting point of this route. There is quite a bit of noise from departing and arriving airplanes. We did not find this disturbing.

It is an ideal summer walk!
