Icon description route Description

We took this surprisingly beautiful and varied walk on 09/06/2025 (11,888 steps).

Many markers, follow none. Parking on Rue Notre-Dame is no longer allowed. Just past the pilgrimage site, there is a spacious, free parking area available.

One of the best and most beautiful natural areas in the Minett region, the "Léiffrächen" nature reserve, combines stunning views and red rock walls with lush and dense forests and extensive dry grasslands. The nearby National Miners' Monument and the "Léiffrächen" pilgrimage site complement the nature reserve. This route briefly takes you into the industrial past of the region.

The walk partly follows the PC8, a former railway bed.

A nice addition to this route is a visit to the "Musée National des Mines de Fer" in Rumelange. View the photos: https://goo.gl/photos/somSH6ZNjfgKUhL96
