We did this two-direction signposted (ES 7) walk on 04/26/2025 (9,212 steps).

The Lac de la Haute-Sûre? On a walk around the lake, you are guaranteed stunning views. That is absolutely the case with this walk.

The route first goes along the shore of the reservoir, then through the village of Insenborn. After you cross the N27, the walk continues into the valley of the Ningserbaach. Via a steep climb, you reach a plateau where even more stunning views await the walker.

It is a short walk with artworks at various locations. Definitely do it if you are vacationing in the area!

In Lultzhausen, in the vicinity of this and many other beautiful walks, there is a youth hostel.
