Icon description route Description

We did this walk on 06/04/2025 (12,600 steps).

This route is a combination of two marked hiking trails of Naturpark Südeifel. They both start in Geichlingen, Germany and can each be walked separately.

The first one, number 39, goes mainly through the municipal forest. Because of missing markings and poorly maintained paths, we walked the route differently. Thus, one cannot really rely on the signage.

The second loop, number 40, mainly goes over paved roads. It is a beautiful part with here and there stunning views over the rolling fields.

The church in Geichlingen is definitely worth a visit.
