Description
Through sunken paths, tucked away in the rolling hills of the Dijleland, you’ll walk to the Bertembos, the Koeheide nature reserve, and the Eikenbos. In the spring, a white carpet of wood anemones unfolds in the Bertembos. You’ll walk across Bertem’s highest point—92.5 meters high—and when the trees part for a moment, you’ll enjoy beautiful views of the region. Out and about with kids? At the ’t Vossenhol play forest, they can climb, scramble, romp, and swing to their hearts’ content on natural play structures.
Before you set out:
This is a walk on a virtual hiking network. The junctions are not marked on the ground. Follow the hexagonal red-and-white signs bearing the name of the walk.

Friday, January 1, 2021 by F.S.In rain or wet weather, put on bones because muddy, but that makes it fun for the kids. Also the children's play forest that you pass is super for the kids. Nice hike.

Friday, May 29, 2020 by R.V.Not always clear signage. At one point the signage even says "hill country walk" instead of bertembos walk
