Description
Through open fields and the Zevenbronnen Valley, you’ll pass through the villages of Walsbets, Wezeren, and Walshoutem. You’ll come across some beautiful farmsteads, such as Hoeve Coppejans and Janshoven. See that small hill with the linden tree on it, right in the middle of the fields near Walsbets? That’s the protected Bortombe, a Gallo-Roman burial mound along the former Montenaken-Tienen road. And when you’re in Wezeren, step inside St. Amandus Church to catch a glimpse of its unique Romanesque block altar.
