Description
This walk is named after Baron Emmanuel van der Linden d’Hoogvorst, the former mayor of Meise in the 19th century. You’ll walk through the center of the village and past the Meise Botanical Garden, one of the largest botanical gardens in the world, with the famous giant arum as its centerpiece. On the Heirbaan, the stunning view of Brussels will catch your eye. On a clear day, you can easily spot the Atomium. Walk past the picturesque St. Stephen’s Church in Oppem and end your walk at the chapel of St. Elooi, the patron saint of horse traders.
