Description
The train car at your starting point no longer runs. And not because it dates back to 1935, but because it’s part of the ’t Leireken tavern in the former Londerzeel station building. The railroad line itself is now a car-free cycling and hiking trail. The walk takes you through the water-rich valley of the Grote and Kleine Molenbeek and past cultural and historical landmarks such as Diepensteyn Castle with its famous stud farm, Drietoren Castle, and the Herbodinnemolen.

Sunday, February 27, 2022 by Jan PootemansThe busy road can be easily avoided by choosing 321-322-300 in 302 and NOT via 331. You can compensate for the extra distance at the beginning by choosing 300-331-301 and so on to 320. It's still about 9 km. Tourism Flemish-Brabant would better accept my solution for the standard hike! Nice, quiet outing!

Monday, June 15, 2020 by GILBERTE DE BLOCKIn the beginning a nice , quiet walk through nature. Then the road went on paved roads and unfortunately we had to do a long track, on the bike path and where there was a lot of noise from the traffic. At our arrival we also had the misfortune that tavern 't Leireken and café 't Exuus were closed to quench our thirst. Still enjoyed the hike and the sunshine.

Monday, December 23, 2019 by M.F.In itself a nice walk, but it is unfortunate that much of it is along paved roads, regional roads and bike paths.
