Icon description route Description

In watery Londerzeel, you can walk along the valley of the Grote and Kleine Molenbeek. Start at 't Leireken, a station building converted into a tavern. In front of the station building is a remarkable first-class train car from 1935. The Molenbeek walk gives you the opportunity to discover the rich cultural-historical heritage and varied fauna and flora of the region. The route takes you to Diepensteyn Castle with its famous stud farm for purebred Brabantine draft horses.

This walk is offered by Tourism Flemish Brabant.

Sunday, February 27, 2022 by Jan PootemansThe busy road can be easily avoided by choosing 321-322-300 in 302 and NOT via 331. You can compensate for the extra distance at the beginning by choosing 300-331-301 and so on to 320. It's still about 9 km. Tourism Flemish-Brabant would better accept my solution for the standard hike! Nice, quiet outing!

Monday, June 15, 2020 by GILBERTE DE BLOCKIn the beginning a nice , quiet walk through nature. Then the road went on paved roads and unfortunately we had to do a long track, on the bike path and where there was a lot of noise from the traffic. At our arrival we also had the misfortune that tavern 't Leireken and café 't Exuus were closed to quench our thirst. Still enjoyed the hike and the sunshine.

Monday, December 23, 2019 by M.F.In itself a nice walk, but it is unfortunate that much of it is along paved roads, regional roads and bike paths.
