We did this surprisingly beautiful walk a bit out of necessity.

Our car had to go into a garage in Geel for maintenance. It was a bit too far to go home, and the maintenance would take about two hours. So we mapped out a walk to do in the meantime.

The walk mostly follows paved roads with a bit of heavy traffic here and there. The starting point is at the garage where only customers can park. However, there is plenty of parking available elsewhere.

That means you have to focus all your attention on the traffic. In some places, it’s downright dangerous because there’s no sidewalk anywhere, so we had to step into the shoulder several times.
