Icon description route Description

This walk is very well signposted on one side.

The start is in Neffe, but we chose to begin the walk from the spacious parking lot at the church in Wardin. A nice walk with quite a few paved roads, but beautiful views of the Wiltz valley and the surrounding villages.

The route goes over an old railway line (RaVel). From the RaVel, you can see an old mill to the right, built down in Benonchamps. The so-called 'mill of Drî l’Tier', which means 'behind the hill', is hidden behind pines and thus not visible from the RaVel.

It is one of the oldest mills in the valley and served not only as a grain mill but also as a tobacco mill, rolling mill, and bark mill.
