The walk begins at ’s Gravenmolen, a watermill on the Maalbeek River, which is also the oldest mill in Grimbergen. Start your walk here, passing the Spiegelhof and the Potaardehof, two farmsteads in the Maalbeek Valley. Along the way, you’ll pass the park garden with its beautiful flower meadow at the Sint-Alexius psychiatric clinic, as well as the Nekkerbos.
