During this hike, you will explore the beautiful natural areas of Langdonken, Blakers, and Molenheide.

It is understandable that people are asked to keep dogs on a leash. In the Molenheide area, you can see the Heimolen windmill. The Heimolen is located between junctions 259-210 of the De Merode walking network. The mill is open to the public every second and fourth Sunday of the month from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. From November to April, the mill grinds when there is wind. From May to October, it does not operate. There is a picnic area at the corner of Windmolenstraat and Heimolenstraat.

The route winds through narrow paths between fields and along houses. Enjoy the nature and the challenging 18.5 km hike. A full day outdoors, what a wonderful way to spend the time!
