An introduction to rural Betekom, with the Demer River as your guide. You’ll walk along unpaved paths through the Beemden to the Demerdijk. Enjoy nature along the banks of this meandering river on the border between Betekom and Aarschot. In the Demer Valley, you’ll walk through the Vorsdonkbos, a low-lying, wet nature reserve. Boots will come in handy here. A little further on, fields, meadows, and the beautiful Putteberg site will lead you back to your starting point.

There are works going on in the Vorsdonkbos and the machines and tractors broke everything, a pack of rain on top and you have a slippery track. Luckily only a small section, the rest was more fun.
