Description
This bike loop never gets boring. First, you’ll enjoy the greenery and tranquility of the Moorsel Plateau, and then, as you pass through Wezembeek-Oppem, Kraainem, and Diegem, you’ll feel the proximity of Brussels. Yet it’s still surprisingly green, because thanks to the VLM’s land-use planning project, the open space of the Woluwe Basin has been protected and enhanced. You’ll cycle past Brussels Airport and across some impressive examples of cycling infrastructure: the country’s longest bike bridge and the bike bridge over the R0.

Monday, April 7, 2025 by tim pauwelsNice route. Just a note: between 16 and 17 the tunnel under the E40 is closed for works. There is no clear detour. Just before the tunnel, take the dirt road to the right. You will come to another tunnel. Drive straight until you see a signpost to the left to Vrebos. Follow that. In Vrebos you can rejoin the trail. it

Monday, October 16, 2023 by Guido BellensVery nice route, slightly undulating. However, there is no way to cycle from point 65 to point 92! Due to work on the industrial area, the "Harenweg" is closed. You can't even get through on foot, yes, I tried. Best is to ride from point 65 to the left, towards point 23, to the small roundabout and turn right there.
