Meet at Kwabeek Park, once a fiefdom with a sturdy castle, now the elegant town hall of Boutersem. This is where your bike ride begins, taking you through a varied landscape: to the south, you’ll cycle through the Haspengouw countryside with its fertile fields and large farmsteads; to the north, you’ll pass through wooded areas. You’ll pass through the charming villages of Kumtich, Hoksem, and Meldert, where you’re sure to find an authentic village pub for a well-deserved break.

Please note: between KP 17 and KP 14, the route is interrupted near Hoksem. Please follow the detour.
