Icon description route Description

The Belfry in the town of Lo has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Along rural, quiet roads we cycle to the Knokke bridge over the Yser where we follow the Ypres - Yser Canal with a view of the bird-rich Merkembroek. In Reninge we look for the IJzerbroeken which often flood in winter. The Fintele is a nice stopping place. Stavele is surrounded by the water. Once over the IJzer, we climb out of the IJzer valley and trek through the picturesque Gijverinkhove to the center of Alveringem. Around the polder village of Lampernisse, silence is a constant. Slow roads lead us through the bowl fields back to Lo.

Saturday, April 9, 2016 by W.G.Hello,
Last week we cycled down this route with gps and we presume that there is a signpost that is not properly placed; namely, the sign as you exit Peperstraat (Reninge Dorp ) to turn right. This was our bottleneck here.
Hoping to be of service to you with this.
