Along Haachtse Velden is more than just a cycling route. It is an educational process for young and old, where you will become acquainted with the characteristics and diversity of agriculture in Haacht in an interactive way. Via 11 attractive information panels along the route, our farmers and beer brewers will proudly give you insight into the profession they practice with heart and soul, and you will learn which local specialties are grown here. The wide range of catering establishments offers you a well-deserved rest and the opportunity to taste our local specialties. The information on the signs is understandable for primary school children. How are potatoes, chicory, fruit, grain, asparagus, and hops grown? How does the farmer care for his pigs, cattle, or horses? How is beer brewed? On each board, there is a multiple-choice question at the bottom left; the answer can always be found on the side of the board.
