Description

Along crunchy gravel roads and narrow bike paths, you’ll discover the breweries of the Brabant Kouters. Steenhuffel is home to the Palm brewery, as well as the De Hoorn microbrewery, where the brewmasters even use oak wood to add flavor to their Cornet blonde beer. In Kobbegem, Mort Subite’s lambic beers are fermenting. The hop fields you pass are at their most beautiful at the end of summer, when the hop cones release their delicate fragrance. You’ll also cycle past the Meise Botanical Garden, wind through the Kravaalbos in Asse, and meander along the Zenne River and the Sluistoren in Weerde. You’ll finish where you started: in true Roubaix style on the Affligem cycling track.
