Icon description route Description

You start in Affligem and finish in true Roubaix style on the cycling track. Brace yourself to ride along crunchy gravel roads and surprising bike paths to Steenhuffel, home village of Palm brewery and its famous amber beer. In the small copper kettles of microbrewery De Hoorn, brewmasters juggle water, barley, hops, herbs, yeast and even oak to flavor the blond beer Cornet. And in Kobbegem, Mort Subite's lambic beers ferment.

The hop fields you cycle past are at their most beautiful in late summer. The hop cones on the graceful poles are then almost ripe for picking and spread their soft, sweet fragrance. You cycle past the Plantentuin Meise, meander through the Kravaalbos in Asse and meander along the Zenne and the Sluistoren in Weerde. Is a rolling landscape with wide vistas something for you? Do good gravel roads and a cobblestone strip here and there appeal to you? Don't hesitate and discover the Brabantse Kouters.

This route is offered by Tourism Vlaams-Brabant vzw in collaboration with 666gravel.
